- This is long, sorry :'D Mostly me just gushing about feelings. -

So I
I don't always get a chance to work with these two as intimately as I want to, and this song just brought on a WHOLE heap of emotion.
Starting off, this image is specifically the Mafia AU, but the feelings and song can be very easily added to literally any AU that these two are together. :'D It's just that the Mafia AU, for some odd reason, has become the AU that I'm able to get HIS feelings and personal stuff out easier with. The Freakshow is more for the general personality, and the others are a mix.
Anyway.
He loves her.
Alot.
He's VERY willing to put his life on the line in order to save hers, and in this AU he actually has a few times and has actually almost died once because of it. That was a literal /gun/shot to the shoulder that ended up causing a bit of problems in his arm, but it's really whatever to him; it's not as annoying as his skin when it gets super dry. But still.
He is so insanely and madly in love with her, yet somehow manages to keep his head straight, which is rather impressive given the fact that he can often let his emotions control what he does, which I understand isn't always a good thing given his position of power. :'D
He is insanely protective of her and will not let anyone touch her unless HE trusts them(and those who he trusts, she usually does as well so it works out).
He feels relieved when he's around her, and much more relaxed than he usually is. She's such a miracle to him, and he will always say how lucky he is to have her. It's like his problems have vanished when she's around, even when he's helping her through her own mental issues.
He does for her what he can, when he can, and he would probably treat her like an absolute queen if she let him. She just doesn't like being spoiled, and will definitely yell at him if he tries.
So, all he CAN do is just... well, this.
Affection.
Sing.
Speak.
Love.
Those whispers of sweet nothings that are constantly spoken about but never witnessed.
Acts of tenderness that only he can do, and he'll probably have someone hunt you down if you even try to yourself if he doesn't get to you first.
If he can't treat her like a queen, he treats her like an angel with healing wings; careful, yet encouraging to fly, and always a step behind her at any point in time.
She protects him everywhere else, and this AU is his chance to return the favor.

When he found her, he found heaven.
And he's never letting that go.
