I know this picture is a reference to Dragonheart, but all it does is remind me of how much I hoped Kyurem would threaten to eat Keldeo in the movie starring them. Not even for the vorish implications, but because the B&W video games clearly stated that Kyurem was a ravenous beast who would devour both humans and Pokémon, so I really wanted them to reference that in the film for the sake of making Kyurem a more menacing villain.
Indeed. Still, it was something I expected more from the beginning, before that was made clear after their first fight.
I feel that's how most Pokémon films are, though. At least when it comes to Pokémon themselves being the villains rather than a human character, it's usually due to some sort of misunderstanding, or some event that simply set the Pokémon off on a rampage. Villainy is rarely at the core of their actions. Then again, that does fit with a Season 1 episode of the anime where Koffing and Ekans themselves even state that Pokémon themselves are never evil, but only do evil things because it's the wish of their trainers.
