His year? I don't recall a Year of the Owl in the Chinese zodiac ... anyways ...
Awesome design. Have you thought of making him look more extraterrestrial? He's very alien-looking as he is, so if you go a bit further and it would be suit the sci-fi setting you created for him. :D

>> This deserves some explanation: The setting came first, primarily through this old round-robin story project. (Most fun I've ever had writing!) The story and sketches Pyu/Bandot's been posting recently are for his own re-imagining of the Stellar Groove story (which he anagram-named Allegro Toves).
To put it in a simple way, there are no "aliens" because there is no single Earth-like planet where life began, and the fact they're almost-standard furries has something to do with the force that created them (Pyu did a lot on this Galactic Genesis part, though he hasn't posted it).
