Warlord
A character and race concept for my world building/story project. Eventually, I'll share more details about these characters, but everything is still at a very early stage at this point.
This piece was drawn with a black ballpoint pen on Fabriano sketchbook paper like most of my traditional pieces. I used a white permanent marker for small details and fixing a few things here and there.
I also used a grey brush marker to make larger areas darker. The brownish grey background color was added digitally.
I wonder if anybody would be interested in a walkthrough/tutorial where I explain my work process in details for ballpoint pen pieces like this? It's something I was thinking about doing for a long time now.
