I heard this recent upload by Caroline of her plucking out this awesome little guitar hook.
I looped it just to hear for myself because it's such a gem. Then put in the
Radiohead because I had it laying around my machine and it felt
sympathetic to the mood. I had to restrain myself from veering into
"overproduced" territory past the volta, but I'm only human, so it gets a
little fussy at the end. But I had the good sense to close it off shortly
afterwards ;)

And I rather meant harmonize with some other instrument, like strings or something.. but that's just my personal preference because I jizz whenever there strings arrangement in songs. hehe

Ahh- The Conet Project is a set of recordings of various numbers stations, or shortwave stations set up by spy agencies. There's a guy who made a 4 CD set of recordings of various numbers stations, and he's made the disks available free for download. A bunch of musicians including Wilco have used these clips in their songs, though the guy who assembled the Conet Project wasn't too happy about it. You might find some inspiration from what he's done.
