The cuteness has made my mouse melt.

If you look close you can see she is laying on the ground. What you don't see is her showing belly and being very submissive.... At times I think people think I beat her... The people that had her before I did really abused this little girl, she has come a long way in six years from what she was when we got her...

Both of mind can be brats but I too think they understand they got a 2nd chance at life. She was pulled from the shelter about an hour before they were going to put her down.... Both of mine are rescued dogs and they have turned out great.

I posted this a while back and I don't think you saw it... Yeah they show their affiction in so many ways. Tundra can't get up on the bed anymore because of her hips but she loves to come and do the malamute lean on me or plop herself as near to me as she can get when I'm on the floor.

I try to take care of her... she is getting to be a little old lady dog now I do what I can to take care of her. I'm not sure if she will be with us at Rainfurrest or not. If she is you will get a chance to meet her. She is happy to be in the house with me as she is outside. At night if she is outside she makes a fuss to go for her evening walk and come in the house. If her hips would let her she would be on the bed with me at night...

I've made up my mind when she is gone I'll look for another Malamute in need of a good home... I see a couple of them on WAMAL but I don't think it would be fair to bring a new dog into the house when Tundra is not going to be here more than a couple of years.

I know how Sky was when we lost his pack mate Lady to a spider bite. I don't want to see that happen to another if I can help it. I know how tightly they can bond. Tundra had rebounded rather will and has taken up some of the things Sky use to do.
