So I am in the process of making a quilt for an up comming pic I am currently doing, when all the sudden this popped into my head.
Lemme explain.
About 15 years ago when I was just starting out in Middle school my art teacher handed each of the students a 1 foot by 1 foot piece of card board and told us to measure out every 1/4 in on all four sides. Than he had us poke holes into those marks. When this was done he handed each of us some yarn and a large needle point needle and told us to insert the need at the 1/4 in mark on one side and than insert it into the corresponding side, but on the bottom.
*pause for reference*
so if you start at 1/4 in on the right hand side you would put the need into the 1/4 in on the bottom.
*end pause*
and than continue as such until you reach the end of the side you stated on. The strings would form a nice gental bowl and give you a cool geometric design. He than left us to create.
So I was struck to do this. There will be a 2nd version tomorrow night.
