From the thumbnail this looks like a photograph! Extremely well painted, and great attention to detail. The beast offers a great contrast against the green backdrop.

i agree. at first i assumed it was a photo of someone suited up. however i like it even more in full view. although it looks less realistic, it looks like a charming illustration; which is something often say when i think it's like the real world but nicer, rose tinted glasses sort of thing. really nice water reflections. i also like the shades of green you have chosen.

Intriguing to see. Compared to your modern work, it is incredibly crude and garish in its colours and technique. Yet the bedrock of talent and training is there in the forms of your trees and the colour on your waters. I assume I won't ever really understand who you are, but it is a strange and beautiful thing to look upon this and gain some small glimmering of where you came from.

I love the little stand of crystals and the water flowing over the rocks in the background...

It's always fun to go back and see what we were capable of before. I really like the style to this <3 Would be interesting to see what you could do with this now =3
