And of course these two are going through the same thing. And like I said before as kids, they don't have as complicated emotions or thoughts like teens and adults which is why these chapters are short. I think after the next two months these chapters will get more interesting.

A Day Of Fun
Before that happened though, there was still the month of May. And it was here that a special all day sport event was held. It was a fun thing as the school year was coming to an end and of course see if the kids had any interests in sports. Besides running around a track, there was throwing and other things. And each class would go against the other. Two would be at one station, and they would rotate between the others throughout the day. “I’m ready!” Yuki stated to Maddie, Jack, and Rachel.
“We just need to do our best,” the bob cat told him.
“He likes to win,” Jack said to her.
“We’ll all do it,” the little coyote commented.
The first even for this group was going around a track against one of the other classes. Jack, Rachel, Yuki, and Maddie all lined up with the others. The starting signal was given and they all took off. This event went well before the class the four were in went onto the next event. “That wasn’t so bad,” Rachel said to Jack.
“Ugh…” he groaned. “That’s not for me.”
“It’s only once a year.”
“Yeah.” Still this was better than sitting inside on a beautiful day. After two more events, a lunch break then happened for the kids. But by the end of the day, most of them were tired out. It was a good thing this was on a Friday so they could take the entire weekend off and rest up. The thoughts of summer were now on the kids minds as it was so close; almost within reach, A lot of them were talking with their parents about what they would be doing during the time off from school. Jack and Rachel were looking forward to this even if they weren’t sure yet what would be happening.
