Three weeks ago today, I lost my best friend of 10 years
I did everything I could for her, but it was time for Switch and I to part ways - ending her suffering was the last gift I could give her in return for all of the joy, laughter, and comfort that she gave me. It's slowly gotten easier, but my heart is still heavy.
