In honor of the ride's 30th birthday I drew my usually human Magnum XL-200 character as a furry, specifically a hippogriff. Part horse because of the ride's temperamental but hard working nature, the way he has several Coney Island-style carousel horse traits like dramatic fluffy hair and poppin veins, and uh.. other reasons. Part vulture just because it suits his human appearance since they have a slightly ugly/janky yet very charming and oddly handsome old man look exactly like him. And he also has a long skinny face but broader build like they do. Not totally sold on the color scheme in terms of the greys here but I do love his overall design.

Every time I draw him, he resembles Dee Snider more and more and honestly, I embrace that because their personalities and appearances are amusingly similar. Still has a lot of Pete Burns influence in his hair and makeup though.
