*gasp* Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... She had a cat! I forgot she did. I even remember now that I saw a drawing of her fursona lying in bed with the cat on her belly. She was stroking her.

Don't worry! Soon your memories of her will make you smile and laugh. I thought I'd never be able to think of my dog Jake or my cat Sugar again without getting sad and crying, but there will be a day where you'll tell a story about her, or think about her and just smile and laugh. I still miss my pets, and it makes me want to cry, but it gets better all the time. And it really does feel better to think of them and not feel sad. Thats not what they would want. <3

I've endured the loss of a cherished pet several times myself, and I know that it's a terrible blow every time. You have my deepest sympathies, may Ashati forever rest in peace.

When my bird died lying on my paws... i learned, what life costs.. Also i learned to get use to pain. Life is cruel with us, and we GOTTA force it to be better.

I really sympathize with you,my cat Taffy has been with me since I was little and shes my best friend, unfortunately I have to leave her behind when I move to Florida in a few weeks. I'm having a really hard time with it so I can only imagine how hard it must be with you and Ashati, my deepest condolences :(

Loss is always hard, especially when it's something/somebody that is close to you. It's how each of us deals with the loss that determines who we are and who we will become. From what I've seen, you're a strong person and will recover from this.

This work wonderfully expresses the pain and emotion that comes from a loss like this. It's a wonderful piece, that really represents what Ashati meant to you.

Ashati will always be with you, as long as you remember her. She may even come and visit from time to time.

Mine do. I just wish I could pet them and listen to them purr. I will always have my memories.

The moment I saw it was a pet memorial I chose not to open it. Sorry, but I'm a total mush and that stuff always leaves me a sobbing mess...

My dog Kästle died back in 2005 and I still get teary when I take notice of her ashes on the cabinet.

It really is just stupid how animals can get themselves so deeply embedded into our lives and hearts. I delivered a pizza to a house today and was scratching the owner's cats while waiting for them to get their money. When she came back out, she was trying to get me to take the cats!

I really couldn't believe that she couldn't feel the same affection for those lovable creatures that they showed to a perfect stranger! I wish I could have taken them, actually, they probably would have been much happier here :/

I'm sorry your cat died, mine died a while back and I feel so bad because he had to be left at my relatives house in Kentucky while I went to Utah and he died while I was gone and I felt so awful when I heard, I didn't even get to say goodbye.
