Shapeshifting heroes

So i played Wonder Boy and Monster Boy back to back and I wanted to draw the leads from those games. Then I got the idea to do a series of pics of video game heroes from the 8bit and 16bit eras who would shape shift. Shantae was the first one to come to mind, now i need to think of more heroes

I thjought the same thing honestly, but if the artist is willing to do classic playstation things too, then one character that comes to mind is Rue form Threads of Fate.
