HEAD
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the head of the costume. If you are reviewing only a set of ears, your answers would also go in this section.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head has a zipper in the back for easy entrance, and has some very wide elastic that keeps the whole head sitting snug on top of mine. It is very easy to put on and I can put it on myself, even with paws on, just without being able to zip down.
Head is a little big on me, but not to the point thar it doesn’t fit at all. Maker has given advice on how to add more foam to the jaw so it fits better.
Vision is better than I expected, with no blind spots when looking in front of me. I cannot see to the sides though, but navigating is not a problem.
Moving jaw works fantastic, due to the upper and lower part of base not being attached (https://imgur.com/a/hcImR22) I can open it very well and a lot, so ventilation is great. I can get a bottle in, but only with a bit of a struggle.
The head is a bit on the heavy side, but not at all to the point that it hurts to have it on. The base is by StuffedPandaStudios, as their bases are bigger than per example DVCs bases AFAIK, so I suspect that that is the reason for the weight, therefore not CorvidCreation’s fault.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The head is in every way gorgeous - shaving is clean and even, the fur is super soft, everything is symmetric, airbrushed spots are not hard or uncomfortable to touch. Beak is painted and sealed twice and has a nice texture. Eyes are very alive and has a good follow-me effect. The expression of him greatly changes on the angle he’s being viewed from.
The eyelids are a bit thick and doesn’t have much texture, but they look nice regardless. On the right side of the head, right by the baby blue fur (mesh and eye), there’s some very small bald spots, but you really have to look close to spot them.


Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
The head has blue/purple LEDs in the eyes. They give a nice effect, but I’m pretty much blinded at night time. This, however, is normal with LED eyes, or so I’ve been told by friends. They light up lots and give a great effect for pictures and so. I have had no issues with the LEDs.The head also has a nice yellow silicone DVC tongue, the maker has powdered it before installing it so it doesn’t capture that much fur and other nasty stuff.

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
Hands/arms are very comfy and snug. They have faux fur up till right before the elbow, then its minky. Arms and hands are in one piece by my request as it makes it much more seamless. As they are 5 fingered and are made of minky, I can use my hands vey well! If there were no claws, I could use them as if I wasn’t wearing anything! There’s elastic that attaches the arms and goes behind my back. The maker marked which arm was right or left on the elastic, which makes my life so much easier.

Feet are pretty big but surprisingly light. I’ve had issues in the past with heavy feetpaws and these got to be the best outdoor ones I’ve owned. I requested the maker to find the shoes as shipping is very expensive from DK to US, which the maker did. They are build on fabric slippers and sit snug on my feet. My only ‘complaint’ would be its very hard to figure out which one is left and right.

I also got some leg sleeves. They were kept up by elastics, and kept falling down. I told the maker and I then sewn them to a pair of boxers, which the maker said they would do in the future too. I believe this was their 3rd pair of leg sleeves. Otherwise they fit perfectly and I can move around very well in them. They go from mid-thigh to my ankels, and I can easily tuck my feet in underneath them.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The hands/arms has applique ‘scales’ of dark blue minky and it looks really gorgeous and seamless (https://imgur.com/a/BVBoIqg), it is very smooth and well made. They also have resin claws from DVC, which we picked out together. There’s airbrushing onto the arms and claws too, around the fingertips and onto the claws (which looks REALLY cool!), a bit onto the palm and underneath the arms. There’s a bit more airbrushing on one of the arms than the other, but this is not very noticeable.

Feet are very soft and has a fantastic shape. They have resin claws too, and rubber bottoms with elastic around the ankles. They look very cool and fit well together with the rest of the suit.

TAILS

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The tail is easy to wear. It has three wide belt strops which keep it in place. I usually only use two of them as my pants/shorts don’t fit well in with the middle strap. Tail itself is soft and light, very bouncy and wiggly. Its perfect and just as I had hoped for.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The tail has a ‘row’ of blue feathers and two yellow feathers underneath that dangle. The blue feathers has minor airbrushing to make them pop out more. The tail tip has a loooong fur that looks gorgeous, especially with the very short black fur of the tail. Overall I love this tail SO much.

WINGS

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
Wings are kept on with a small ‘harness’, which consists of two wide elastic band between the wings themselves and a elastic strap to go around your shoulder. Think back-pack like. They sit very snugly on my back and move a bit with my body.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
They are quite big, but it fits well with the rest of the suit. Very soft fur. The base of the wings is foam, so its also very squishy. The fur is not shaved so they look very fluffy. Overall very cute. They can handle getting tucked thru tight holes in t-shirts, so also very durable.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything looks great together! No complaints - the whole suit fits with my body type and nothing looks too small or big compared to other parts. He’s fun to perform in and I don’t feel very cumbersome.



How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
I posted a ‘looking for a maker’ in a group on Facebook and CorvidCreations commented, I got a quote for a guided artistic liberty gryphon and I commissioned her. It was very easy and she even said that she wouldn’t mind if I took a while to decide.



How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Under 24 hours every time. I got a reply very fast and very detailed, which was lovely. I felt that I knew everything, since I got updates very often.



How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Maker kept asking me what I’d prefer, how I’d prefer it and if I had any questions before they started what they would work on. It was easy to ask and request things because of their friendly professionalism. I could tell my concerns about it and they would take it very well. We worked together on designing the suit, they made the intial design and I requested small tweaks, which was no problem. After I got the suit, I had a claw fall out. They apologized and gave me instructions to how to fix it. A real pleasure to work woth!



How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I commissioned the maker the 29th May 2018, and requested to have completion at the new years. Suit was completed end-September and was at my place 12th December. The suit itself was started around October.



Are you happy with the product you received?
Quality-wise, this is the highest quality suit I’ve ever owned. This goes for every aspect - the suit itself, contact with maker before, during and after commissioning. I couldn’t be happier with him.



Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I very much reccomend this maker in every way possible. That is all I can say, check them out and give them a follow! They are highly underrated.
