OMG!!!! NOOOOES!!! Death by DIAPER!
That's very generous comment, seroiusly. I still have a bunch to learn, but one day I hope to be as good (not a popular though, omg I would pull a Brittany Spears) as her.
I really need to learn markers.... >.< I just can't seem to get away from colored pencils. LOL

it also strongly depends on the paper as well, if you use normal like printer paper, then it will eat the ink link crazy and make everything look like shit, use a nice paper with a high count, almost like tracing paper, that makes them look alright. also prisma markers are good, and also AD markers, they cost about the same amount, but ad markers last alot longer but then are alittle harder to use.....is used both brands, but for badges i think prisma is good because it has that fine point, admarkers dont, it just depends on how you hold the marker to get a fine point
oh no, card stock is terrible on markers, because there so thick they just EAT ink. especially admarker ink. prisma ink might be ok, but i think it would still bleed and not blend very well, also when you want to blend something start with your lightest color, then make your way to the darkest, then when your at the darkest you wanna be, go over the entire thing with the lightest color you used, its a simple trick to make the inks blend with each other.
i took a rendering class last semester that tought us how to properly color and render with markers

at my school it was part of my course, i had to take visual presentation 1, which was learning how to draw perspective correctly, and then visual presentation 2 os where he learned marker rendering and photoshop rendering, next semester i have visual presentation 3 and im not sure what were doing in there.
