So if you've been looking at my gallery for a-while now, you might notice that this picture looks a-little familiar.

A-little over a year ago, I drew Kthaarae for the first time. It was very rough, ideas and details changed, and those noodles arms make me cringe. So when I realized it had been a year since I had created that picture, I decided to go ahead and draw it again to show myself what I have learned since then. Now, no noodle arms!!!!

I also decided to go ahead and experiment a-little by making an attempt at drawing the textures of Kthaarae's hair and tail rather than using a texture brush (haven't been very happy with how the textures have been coming out lately).

I'll admit it's comforting looking back and realizing yes, I actually have gotten better since then.

I may actually make this an annual thing of mine. Redrawing a picture (or even this picture) each year around the end of April to show myself what I've learned and where I need to improve.
