Back in 2009, my friend Yark-Wark came up with this concept for a dragon kid character named Tok, who never made it past this initial sketch.
So for the fun of it, I decided to take the concept and give it a Team Prototype spin. This is Jaik Tok, the Dragon Kid.
Originally, I was thinking of making him an actual character in the setting, but I really wasn’t sure on the idea, so I decided to combine this with another idea I had been thinking on. Now, he’s a fictional superhero character in the TP universe.
Jaik Tok was a normal Narth kid, until he got pulled into some unexpected trouble and was injected with an experimental serum that altered him. He then becomes the city’s hero, the Dragon Kid!
He’s a fictional character, meant to be like Spider-Man in the real world. His personality I imagine is like Peter Parker and Jaime Reyes, so an average kid who has to balance being a hero with his normal life, while also trying to adjust to his new appearance.
