I decided to rewrite this old story and thought I may as well post it here too since up till recently, the only copy I had was the old version on SoFurry... and that site has been crashing often enough for me to worry about losing it forever. This is a very deep and personal insight to Caleb's past. But more importantly, its a major piece to the puzzle of understanding what my lore is about... told by the most valuable and meaningful character in my life, from both canonical and emotional aspects.
