Aha, I did it! XD
This is Shunky, one of
firost97 characters.
She has some interesting characters, but I picked this one 'cause it's been so long since I've actually drawn an animal. And since Shunky's got a pretty cool background I.. sorta tried drawing a pretty cool background to go along with it XD
The background itself took exactly one hour (Yes, I'm slow) and I kinda went nuts on the highlights on the wolfess fur. Though I did go for a more realistic sorta style than the one she usually draws her characters in.
The idea was to detach the character from the background, sorta.. I dunno.. they weren't supposed to feel too connected. Just thought it'd bring out the character that way, and since this is a character art trade, voila.

Heheh, you wouldn't get that from the stuff I usually draw now, but me and you are much more alike than you think XD
