My Christmas Artcard for this year! :D
Featuring my character and page mascot Lizkay and a cute reindeer (I love these )

overall done in Photoshop CS2 using my Wacom Intuos2 Tablet ;)

Wow that came out really really well. I loved how you colored it. I tried to use more layers to give my art card that effect, but I think I just failed at it.
You should send these out as chrismtas cards!

I always plan to do so ;) though in the end I am always so late with finishing the card arts that I can only give them out here around... if I would send them they wouldn't arrive before christmas at all.. or I doubt even in the same year *lol*

Good lord almighty. You MUST teach me how to color like that. Do you have a tutorial or something like that? I know it's a lot easier to just read those rather than sucking out your brains to enhance my own skills.

Thanks a bunch!
It is mainly a mix of cell, painting and gradient shading all over there (a few things are explained on the tutorials on my website ;) )
to give the coloring that glowy/velvet feeling later on, just try the overlay effect of photoshop.
