Just a planishing stake I made for someone a few years ago.

Nothing special.
But proof that my skill set went up a notch in being able to make professional quality tools for armourers.

Yep.

Half of a cast iron 4 pound handweight, ground, sanded and polished into a dome shape and riveted into a 3/4 inch gas pipe shaft.
Add a baseplate, and done.

Sounds easier than it was to make.

Would it be okay with you if I hit you up sometime soon about a metal-forming question I've been pondering for awhile? This picture got posted right when I was starting to think about that project, and then life got crazy so I wasn't able to ask at all.
