That looks more like a design flaw of the chassis. If you look that space is where the motherboard is located. What's needed is fans. There is no air flow, just a CPU fan and a fan on the power supply pouring heat into the chassis. Is there's a front and back fan (maybe a side fan) then cool air can be drawn in, and hot air pumped out.
But yeah, terrible design of the chassis.

There are two great big holes at the back. One is meant for the power supply to blow air out of. What you're seeing at the bottom right at the moment is the intake fan for the PSU, that should be pointing inside the case to gulp up all the warm air, so it can spit it back out one of its other holes D: The whole thing is pretty much fucked.

I build servers and systems for a living. If you notice the power supply is down at the bottom but the cable is still plugged in at the back of the chassis. Which means that someone designed the cable to run around the chassis to the power supply at the bottom. This is a horrible design because unless you have two side holes for pumping out heat and a flow pattern from front to back the system will over heat.
When I was in the US Navy I worked briefly with a Marine in food service (chow hall duty, everyone typically does a week or two of it) who had the cleanest area in the chow hall (we are talking like a huge area with multiple food lines). It was amazing because when you are serving the floor gets covered with food and debris yet his line was spotless. I found his secret, every time he walked through the area he carried a broom and swept all the crumbs under the tables, under cabinets and anywhere else you couldn't see it then clean it up later once the line closed. His two motto's were if it looks clean it is clean and it's not as important to clean as it is WHEN you clean it.
I think the point is, there could be a mountain of empty pizza boxes on the other side of the room and the only time I ever take pictures of my living space is when I've cleaned it.

That's a pretty funky computer case.. I've never seen one with the PSU in that spot. Perhaps filling those rear exhaust ports with two nice, quiet 80mm fans will set you straight? But I'm sure you've already thought of that.
Pretty neat workspace, all told. Wish I had a cool desk like that.
