I could see either scenario happening. Either way, Star you are a talented and creative artist. Every page of Shine is so funny, cute, I love the emotion expressions you put into your characters, like this page. It is so funny and priceless to see Star's face like that. Shine is a comic that purrfectly combines humor, drama, romance, suspense, and pulls the emotional heartstrings all into one comic. This page is purrfect way to begin my day and every new page of Shine always brings a smile to my face and brightens my day! Great job as always, and keep up the good work!

Can I say, I really appreciate the lack of laziness in your work? You have two panels that are nearly the same pose, and anyone else would just copy and paste and then redraw a few facial features. But you went to the trouble of actually redrawing the whole panel a second time, and that's a really commendable thing, IMO. Good job, and I can't wait to read more!

I love this comic, but I would like to point out how the art style change in this page. The colors are less saturated, as if it's suddenly in the afternoon.

I'm not saying that your drawing is ugly, but try and maintain consistency in your art. It's a bit off-putting.

I enjoy seeing improvement and/or experimentation in people's art, including yours, but try not to change too much.

yeah truthfully im not sure what happened to this page...how it ended up like that. i think there may be a layer switched off when i exported to png as the lineart is pretty wishywashy...it'll be fixed in the printed version

Oh, so that's what happened.

It must be something like that or i messed up the line size cause its weird how manda and lure in the bottom panel are closer to how I would normally draw things...maybe i was just going thru one of those lets try and do something different...which happens sometimes but clearly it didnt work on this page
