Rowan the Growlithe doesn't remember much before her incident, but a kind Persian named Tawny agrees to help. With nothing but a frightening memory and a few companions, she rediscovers her family, past, and why she was on the run.
However, she may find that starting life anew as a rescuer was a blessing she took for granted, and the truth was nothing that she could have expected.

Her life, loved ones, and civil peace are all in danger, if they don't figure out what's causing the very early, brutal, biting winter.
