Aren't Micron pens a wonderful thing? I like using the 005, myself.
I can't do biomechanoids, or perspective very well (without a reference), though. That guy is awesome and ought to be completed. If you have a problem designing a functional actuation system for his body, I point you towards perfect grade Gundam models, namely the later ones. The RX-178 is a prime example, for it has excquisitely detailed functioning pistons and actuators (unpowered) in all the joints possible on a humanoid machine. That was a joy to build.
