Just some practice with a new style of drawing faces. I think it allows me to make the characters I draw quite a bit more expressive, since it's more cartoony and less rigid.
The rules for this particular exercise were to write down an expression, then try to draw it so that there was no mistaking which expression describes which face. Drawing hands, props, written characters (a question mark or a "doh") or symbols (such as the anime tear) is cheating. I also tried to avoid drawing profile shots, because I do that too much.
They're all supposed to be the same character... whatever.
The expressions I used were:
Angry
Frustrated
Sad
Focused
Scared
Wha...? (yes, this IS an expression)
Feel free to guess which expression belongs to which face.

Thanks! I kinda went through this whole phase where I decided I didn't like drawing any more. :(
Chip and I have been wanting to restart our webcomic though, from scratch, with new characters and a new plot, so I've been working a little on that and I just recently started looking at some ways to get better at drawing cartoonier furs.
