Sure. Escaping from plushies that wanted to make you part of their hoard is a sensible thing to do.
But betting your chance to escape by challenging them to a fight is the worst idea, well 'was' the worst idea.
It didn't help that the two opponents you picked were fighting types themselves, which promptly secured your loss.

With every kick and every punch they land, more and more plush material coated your body. By the end, both of you look less like your small human selves and more like the two plush you had challenged.

Though, it shouldn't matter much now since your just as equally competent as them, now that your both fighting-type plushies.
