Just thought I'd post this, cuz I kinda like how this came out so far :) I wanted to make a little gouache painting, to see how it would turn out...please excuse the bad photo of it, it was still wet so I didn't want to scan it =P

I still need to touch up on the clouds, I think...or at least do a little more work on them. Maybe fix up the tree. Haven't started painting the character yet, but I blanked out the pencils so it's to keep their identidy a secret for now, cuz it's supposed to be a surprise ;)
