As for the cats, wuff can't see their plots succeeding for multiple reasons, though Vrghr admits they definitely WOULD plot such a thing. However, as to why not:
- Speech does not translate to opposable thumbs, and as Hania pointed out, kitty tins still require can openers and wuff doesn't see any kitty giving that up
- Human task forces equipped with catnip-aspirating leaf blowers and Nerf bazookas modified to fire yarn balls to quickly quell any uprising
- And 3rd and most important, Cats ALREADY rule! Just observe any pet household: Dogs have owners. Cats have staff. Why muddle that up by putting themselves at the head of some tiresome government bureaucracy?

I don't know why, but I want this as an anime. A scene with a gang of 'freed' doggos chasing mail carriers so much it becomes a problem. Tho, this story does make me realize if any doges I've had were to start being cognizant, I'd probs teach them internet safety as the first thing.
You know, I have a feeling this is exactly how it would go down. Dogs would get their heads filled with philosophical pondering while the cats would quietly move in for the kill.
On the other hand, our cat doesn't seem to have the interest or focus needed for world domination. And I would dearly love to know what his meows mean when it's plain he doesn't want pettings or string to play with.
