You know the classic "reluctant warrior" trope? The fighters who hate what they do, only doing it when there are absolutely no other options? Cursing the world for making them resort to combat and conflict?
Yeah, Arix isn't one of those guys. One can only imagine what he's looking at right now. A wicked villain setting the final pieces of their nefarious scheme in motion? A horrible monster rearing itself up in a (horrifically misguided) attempt to appear threatening?

The villain held the gem aloft, the beams of moonlight piercing through the chamber and refracting out in a dazzling array of light, despite the late hour and the depths of the dungeon. He looked to the armoured dragon who had broken into his chamber, and begun to chuckle, as those who revel in villainy are so often wont to do.
"Ha! Puny hero! My plan to destroy the world is almost complete!" The room-filling device begun to whir to life as the rays of moonlight struck its core. "You cannot stop me no...excuse me, but are you smiling...?"
And he was. The warrior drew his sword, his grin even wider than the near-successful villain. "I thought it was the villains who were supposed to laugh maniacally here."
"I'm beginning to question if you are actually a hero, or just a fucking madman!"
"One could argue they are one and the same."
"Ah, no biggie. DIE!"
A bolt of lightning flex towards the hero, but despite the bulk of his equipment, the dragon moved with surprising speed. His wings snapped open as he leapt towards his adversary, the bolt fizzling harmlessly against the ground where once he stood. Before the villain knew where he was, the warrior was already upon him, sword mere centimeters from his ribs...
