I wanted to point out that the eye-walls are flexible and will accommodate an eye roughly 3 inches in diameter. That's a 70 or 80 mm acrylic half sphere, a large toony eye or whatever you have in mind.
I'm using two empty masking tape rolls to hold the eyes open here.
The base rests in a somewhat squinted state but you can do so much with it.
