Yeah, I've already had summer nights disrupted by sounds that were either two cats fighting or mating. You couldn't tell. But from what I've read about it, female felines are quite kinky about that >>

When you're in that position kink, or consent doesn't matter anymore. Certainly cats have been injured or killed in such situations.

RATS are interesting ones, depending on the status of the pair mating behavior can go from grooming to pinning down and tearing chunks of fur out. Black rat does need to be caught before consenting and a friend of mine who had a black die and norway buck (Different species, can cohabitate and mate) found his doe got so desperate that she'd simply run in circles around the buck so he could more easily 'catch' her.

They were an interesting pair resulting from my friend's interest in wild (as opposed to domestic) rats. People don't understand that pet rats are vastly different from their wild cousins; you put 100 wild rats, even ones who live in apartment walls, in a cage and 3/4 of them will promptly die from shock.

And the black rats differs from the norway as much as rabbits and hares (Very much so hares, where does are also chased.The 'boxing' 'mad march hares' once thought to be dueling males are in fact does telling an unwanted buck to back the f*k off.)

My friend has the dream of breeding the world's largest rat,maybe he will succeed some day.
