When I felt the changes stop, I moved to stand up… and found it exceptionally easy to do so. No longer did I bear an ape-like lean, balancing on my arms as if they were legs. My feet had grown digits protruding from their rears, and my leg joints had changed to accommodate this new sense of balance. Supporting this was additional leg musculature, and I quickly noticed that my already-grand musculature elsewhere on my body was now further accented, with my scales and spikes sporting a newfound sheen. My attention was drawn to the sensation that came from looking around as I realized that my neck had elongated, and I naturally used its new length to check my backside, where I felt the source of a strange weight upon me. It was more than just a change in my tail: the small bumps on my back had erupted into grand wings that I could move easily.
It was beyond comprehension. My situation was somehow even more strange than it was when I first transformed from a kobold into a strange beast, but unlike that previous transformation, this one brought no fear. It instead felt like a resolution to all of the uneasiness I had been experiencing. I had become some sort of giant draconic paragon, far beyond what I had admired in other dragons, and in that moment I felt renewed purpose and a sense that, along with my companions, I could take on the world.
Since his first appearance in a Pathfinder campaign in March 2017, Gargantua was always meant to be an evolving character. The culmination of those changes finally occurred in September 2018.
