This is a very personal project for me. It chronicles the first time I met my husband. Our first Date really was at a place called The Lazy Dog, and yes, I really was dumped by my ex for another man the same day I was planning to propose to him. Needless to say, this is a very intimate glimpse at my life and how I got to where I am today through the lenses of a short comic.I’ve condensed it down for the sake of time but the way this comic plays out is how it went as best as I can remember. (It’s been more than 5 years now after all!)

I decided to do this as a gift for my husband as a coming home present from my deployment, and not for anything else. It’s my small way of telling him he is the world to me and that over these last 10 months of being apart I have kept home close to my heart.

If you have someone in your life, boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife, tell them you love them and always cherish the time you have with them because some day you won’t be there every day to let them know.
