DRAGON! I love dragons! I love them almost as much as I love Jelly Belly jelly beans. And I would topple governments just to get me some Jelly Belly. To me dragons are like the ultimate fantasy creature. I mean you can depict dragons as anyway you want them. Dragons are freaking awesome.

Yeah sorry, the immature autistic child inside of me gets all hyper about the things I like.

I've just always had this sort of infatuation with dragons ever since I first watched The Black Cauldron as a kid. Now those were some bad ass dragons. I also loved the Haku dragon from Spirited Away. Reign of Fire is the only dragon movie I could think of that sort of disappoints me.

Seen the Black Couldron, seen Spirited Away, haven't seen Reign of Fire, but if it's anything like Eragon, dude I am so there. sure it was a crappy movie but the way they designed Saphira, man she was awesome.

The only good thing about Reign of Fire is you actually get to here Christian Bale's actual real English accent and half of the movie is him shirtless and sweating. The dragons were cool looking but were basically relegated to nothing more than the weird sci-fi (blech!) monster of the day. And that whole bit about the dragons reproducing like fish? WTF!? Though, what Bale says in that infuriating scene is kind of funny.
Mr. Bale as Quinn: Well, generally when we're running for our lives, we don't stop to look at the plumbing.

It basically just takes what could have been a cool idea, dragons in modern day England and they ruined it in true Touchstone Pictures fashion.

Sorry to hear it bud, hopefully better movies like Dragonheart make up for that failing

The thing that really gets me about it is that the movie was made by Touchstone, A.K.A. Disney. You would think these people would know how to make a movie about dragons.
