Vaa was never born to royalty, but was adopted into the family Ren and brought up to be just like her brothers and sisters whom she grew up with. Though she was in the same family, being a different spiecies didn't help with her having been adopted which made her feel weak and alone.

Soon, the young Twi'lek would grow up and learn to use her weaknesses to build a strength that her siblings could only dream of, saving nearly her entire family from being decimated at the hands of an opposing House that sought to wipe them off the planet in attempts to be recognized by the Empire as a useful force.

The rival House was forced to move from the planet by other powerful Houses, however Vaa's parents had died shortly after and she took it upon herself to not only accept her family's name, but to make it a name that none would forget and soon the House of Ren became the first House of Vaa'ren.

Her main outfit is a leather dress and a single spike crown that symbolizes her family crest, along with her lip markings that only the females of the House wear.
