This is an updated reference sheet that I drew for my car character, Elsey. :) I added a rear view angle picture to the sheet, as well as made a small change to her fuel gauge, changed some of the notes and reworded a few bits of information about her on the sheet. I know the sizes of things and layout is all over the place. I was feel pretty sick the day I drew this, and worked on this to help distract myself.
For those only just meeting her, Elsey is a car character that I've been drawing for a very long time. She started out as a car with just some silly quirks and personality traits, but over time, I redesigned her a few times, and she soon came to be the character you see now. :) Originally, I didn't design Elsey to have eyes and a mouth, let along be able to talk, but I've always loved living car characters, and after giving it a lot of thought, I decided that I wanted Elsey to be like that. Now she's a cute and friendly car with the same quirks she's always had. She may not sound like the ideal automobile when you hear about her low gas mileage and tendency to overheat, but if you look beyond that, you'll find that Elsey is a sweet car and a loyal friend. She's usually pretty polite, but can throw out the occasional zinger or sarcastic remark. She's driven by my OC, Naru Hsu, and the two are inseparable friends.
As for what makes her different than your regular everyday car, she's alive. Elsey is a living car with a carburetor and soul all her own. Not only can she speak, she can also think and act for herself. Because of this, driving her is not as simple as hoping in, turning on the ignition, and putting her into gear. In order to drive her, you have to get along with her and treat her as your equal if you want her to so much as start her engine. She's generally very friendly, and happy to make friends, so relax, be polite, and treat her how you want her to treat you, and the two of you will get along just fine. :)
Elsey is indeed on of the characters of mine I'm most attached to, and even is she may get some weird looks from other people, I'm very proud of how her character has developed over the years, and where she is as a character now. :) I do get nervous sharing my pictures of her online and such because I never know what people are going to say about her, but like I said, I'm really proud of her. :)
If anyone likes her and want to do fan art or feature her in any written works, feel free to, but please remember to credit me for her. Please and thank you. ^u^

Thank you! :3 As for that note by the tire, I wrote that on the event that someone wanted to draw her. :D I actually would have added patches to her tires, but I was feeling very sick the night I drew this, and was admittedly at the point where I just wanted to be done so that I could rest. ^^;
By the way, did you notice on the rear view shot that I experimented with drawing the spare tire at a bit of an angle? :)
