An extremely early version of the Mangalore texture which I ultimately threw out and started again due to poor colors, texture transitioning and irregularities with the mouth texture lining up with the mesh.

Originally, I started out using FaceGen to make the base texture but an early problem I came across here was the way FaceGen would try and put human color skin hues on the final texture (I guess it's not designed for beasts/critters) :/

In the end, I took the below image,

And then using Topaz AI Gigapixel, I then used it to upscale the image by 6 times. Giga Pixel has a highly unique feature which allows it to hallucinate extra detail onto the image via a Neural Network:

Then it was a case of making the texture, getting the blends correct and so on.
