I didn't even realize I might indeed have based her unconsciously on one but you may be right!

The idea for her fins came as I was musing how to handle the matter of her legs in the TF since the tail is actually an extension of the spine rather than the "legs merging" as most people portray mermaid tails in TF. Then the idea of these fins where her legs might be came to me and the commissioner liked it enough they suggested the idea of adding another pair :)
