This is the damage to my friend's truck. The insurance company totaled it, but he bought it back for $159.00. Body shops wanted $1900.00. to repair it, but so far we spent $100.00 on a bumper and a few items. Still need to get a grill and straighten the passenger fender.

Not a bad fix at all. Looks like that little Escort will get totaled, too. I remember getting rear-ended in my 76 Dodge Aspen at 45mph. Insurance company wanted to total it, but It cost me $12 to repair the car. It was a 95 Escort that hit me in the rain and was totaled (my trailer ball was inside the top of her engine.
It was a 1993 Escort wagon. Raven Fox told me that he must of hit her at 15 MPH. The Escort quit running and you noticed the drivers side front wheel is at a 45 degree angle. I myself personally don't buy newer cars because they don't take damage well in an acident, I own a 1989 Ford F-150 with the 300 in-line six cylinder.
