The sun had set beneath the two winged Pokemon's, basking against their feathers as its rays slowly became dimmer, the sun resting as the moon began to arise. Braviary stared at Swellow, who was staring at the diving sun herself, moving a little closer to her as he gave her a gentle nudge.
"I can tell you're enjoying the sun," he told her, giving her a soft peck on her wing. "I like it as well."
She'd smile in return, gazing at him for a short glance, and then back at the sun. Swellow looked down in his mind but shrugged it off as he hoped it wasn't sadness she was progressing.
Braviary's heart told him it was time, after many months of him and her being mates, to finally ask her the question he's been wanting to ask for a long time. But, was it the right time? It's the right time. He thought, puffing up his chest as he joined with her in the moving sun.
He stared at Swellow, his heart lunging deeply as he gave himself a deep breath. "Swellow, I just want to tell you that... I'm happy to be your mate. I'm glad about all the times we've spent together, through thick and thin. The struggles and the quarrels, the pain and the depression, it all goes away. It goes away because we work together to keep that pain away."
Swellow stared at him as he talked, her eyes widening. He continued.
"I love you so much, Swellow. We're going to be a family someday, you're going to lay your eggs! But - there's something I really want more than just a stable relationship or a future family, something that I wanted to get off my chest for many, many moons."
Her heart started beating vigorously, tears slowly coming out of her eyes, refusing to believe his heartwarming words. She pondered on her words but spilled it out anyways. "W-what is it?" She'd stammer, holding out her breath.
"Swellow…"
Tears started flowing all the way down her body as she tried to hold on.
"Will you marry me?"

his adorable swellow and braivary are now married and will have five children lol
