This picture represents a new relationship that has been in the making for quite some time now: Rinji Pantera and Launa Viander
This is their first ever meeting and as you can see, their relationship is going to be quite unique. While Launa is known as the trickster goddess, she possesses brute strength the likes of which Rinji has never known. That and she is quite skilled in sorcery and thus can use powerful magic.
Rinji on the other hand doesn't possess Launa's level of physical strength, nor does he have any magical abilites. However, he does possess the Sharingan and as it stands, he doesn't know if it can read magic attacks or not. He also uses ninjutsu and in many ways, it's a lot like Launa's magical abilities. And Rinji himself is quite strong, considering his own muscular build. His greatest strength lies in his speed.
The two stand ready to fight as their means of getting to know each other. As to who will win? Only time will tell. Either way, this is the start of a beautiful relationship between them.
