That's largely true. Not quite though. Venom is a caracter. Though it is true that it is an alien symbiote that covers over a person it does more or less meld with the person. But not permanently. Well, it doesn't have to be. In venom's case, eddie made a deal not to do that. but you take carnage for example.... it doid fully become one with his symbiote. I think the idea of an elite with such a symbiote would be awsome. Though the only reason venom has more spider like abilities that he has is because of the time it spent with spiderman
