"Oh the science behind it is boring and complicated, but as you can the result is deceptively simple! I'm really just a sentient blob of omnicellular that happens to formed in a friendly looking, familiar shape, complete with eyes and ears, and a cute little tail. Approach-ability was the primary thought process in our design, and from what I've experienced it works rather well!"

Biosera have no official title for thier species, only what they've picked up in thier endless voyages between stellar civilizations. Here they have been comically referred to as "boingcats", "Coots", and "Goolines", though the term most have adopted is the far more scientific and professional "Biosera" or "Living Fluid". As thier many nicknames might imply, these adorable looking feline-esque creatures don't exactly hold a familiar biology. They have no traditional bone structure, organs, veins, or muscles, but are instead made entirely of a goo-like substance made entirely of omnicells and nanites, the result of millions of years of development and design.

Purely bio-mechanical, the entire species is the life work on a mysterious armada of machines that has cultivated them carefully to perform all tasks needed for its continued functioning and expansion, as well as maintaining peaceful contact with other races. Rapidly reproductive, practically indestructible, and easy on the eyes, Biosera are often considered a wonder of biological engineering, despite the intentional design choice to make them practically harmless to other races. They are soft, squeezable, sentient culminations of goo contained within a thin but remarkably strong slick skin-like surface. They can come in any variety of colors, though more often than not thier choice of pattern and palette is heavily swayed by thier particular job description. Strangely, despite being almost impossible to notice, thier eyes, ears and nose are completely unnecessary, since their omnicellular structure allows for every cell to perform the any action needed, such as smelling, hearing, and of course, seeing. The only reason these recognizable features appear on Biosera at all is to make them look less alien and more approachable to outsiders upon first contact. Their whiskers, on the other hand, are actually important tools, used to house the nanites that swim around within them to keep them at 110% at all times!

Atreyo himself in a pretty average looking Biosera, built for the often misunderstood supermachine known only as Annihilation. Black and orange are the colors seen in the depths of that massive thing, so those were the colors adopted by Atreyo. However, due to an unforeseen event, he would soon find himself working instead under the much more beloved and social supermachine, Athanasy, the great philosopher, where he adopted his colorful blue outfit. The task given to him by this machine, he doesn't share openly, though his positive outlook and contagious optimism suggest it's a rather promising one.

BEHOLD! The first example of the original species im working on, Biosera! Or Boingcats if you want. They are goodra-like alien bio-mechanical felines, and if you think you might be interested in making one, i intend to hopefully get out a bestiary sheet next month, so keep an eye out! :3 That will have ALLLLL the info on them and all the unique possibilities they come with :3
