The strawberries on top of the cake were alluring to the large bernard. Ducking down under the doorframe, he stepped into the room with the cake in hand. "I finished the cake!"

He smiled, staring at the cake as the plate it was on rested on his belly. "I don't know why you wanted me to make you a ca-"

A flash of movement made the werewolf lift his cake up in surprise. He felt something wrap around his midriff, attempting to snatch around his entire belly, but because of how large he was, the arms only made it half way.

"Oh! Hi there!" He wanted to say something else, but he figure it would be best to leave the raccoon to the hug. Sarge knew that people hugging his belly was therapeutic, and this raccoon more than deserved it.

"Hehe." He put a hand on the raccoon's head and rubbed it gently. "Happy birthday."

A little birthday gift for  darrenthefox. He planted this idea in my head and I had to do it. Since he suggested it, and it was just his birthday... he was the candidate to hug the big bwoof's belly.

And, it's a bit odd of me to do, but I also wanted to draw this as a "Thank you" to him. He'd always been very kind to me and has supported both my patreon and silly drawing ideas for years now. Back when I was having trouble fitting into the fandom, he was there, too.

I know I ain't the best person out there, especially in comparison to this man, but he certainly makes me want to be kinder and more compassionate. None of us know what other people are truly going through, and that's what I felt for a long time. It's true to an extent, but with the small things Darrenthefox did, it certainly helped me out of my own blocks/jams.

I really like this old-looking feel for Sgt. St. Bernard. For drawings of Sarge when he's odler, I anticipate you will see larger jowls on him... cuz right now he looks like he's in his forties!
