I love life in the arena! When not out adventuring on my own, it provides a lovely way to keep myself fit and strong, and my skills sharp. The excitement of battle, the roar of the crowd, the rush of adrenaline in a hard-fought victory!

Hm? And when I'm not victorious? Well, a dragon can't fight for as long as I have without losing the odd scrap here and there, of course. But even in defeat, the valuable lessons learned and skills acquired are still pretty great. And, victory or defeat, the excitement of battle and roar of the crowd are all still there!

I've been at this a long time, and I'm good at what I do. I'm also a bit of an unashamed showboater. Hey, I'm not just here for myself, after all. The audience comes here to see some entertainment! Got to give the crowds what they want. Displaying a little ferocity before battle not only gets the crowd riled up, but by the look on my opponent's face here, it's a good way to throw them off their game, get them a little shaken.

Entering this little tournament here, my opponent may have bitten off a little more than he could chew. I'm champion here for a reason.

But underdogs have won before! Battle is a funny, chaotic thing. Anything could happen. I would still bet on myself, of course, but I wish him the best of luck. And if perchance he does end up defeating me, well, congratulations to him, and thank you for the lessons learned I say. The crowds like to see their champion on top, but they also enjoy an underdog victory. Come what may, a good and exciting battle is ahead. Let's have at it!
