that much i understand, but the way light wraps around a subject and all that, i'm not so good with. i've been studying ambient occlusion and reflected light a bit lately, and it's all so complicated! i'm trying to break things up into layers so i can make sense of it, but it's like you just know where light should and shouldn't be without having to do that and i'm so jelly T.T
