Pura wants to run her own store, but she needs funds for an actual building. So she gets a job as a waste disposal worker. Being able to eat/inhale garbage and other objects comes in handy for picking up trash and other remains left from adventures and monsters who never seem to know or have even heard of waste bins before. Unfortunately Pura's inhaling is pretty strong and it picks up a lot more than just trash. Those work safety training videos won't tell anyone that her appetite IS one of those possible hazards (and that they are technically on the menu in her case)!
