Snow has finally fallen on the city of Ashville, Vermont. Just in time for Chistmas, too. America's largest and most densely populated city, at a population of 31 million in an area the size of New York City, has been experiencing below freezing since late November, but only now has it fallen as snow and not as hail and sleet. But the thing about Ashville's weather is that, once the snow starts to fall, it'll stay as snow till around late February
Zear and
Raven are out in Osheyda park, outside of the city near the green mountains, enjoying the snowfall. While zear marvels at the poetic beauty of the snow, having never seen snow before in his life, Raven has a more practical appreciation of the snow...

because it covers up hazards, makes driving a nightmare, when it compacts it takes longer to melt, when it does melt usually it refreezes and turns to ice which takes longer to melt. if it gets on you it will melt and get your clothes wet which will suck away any heat you produce.
just a few reasons ^.^

yeah, I actually picked to put my chars in Vermont just cuz it was the first state I could think of that there would be garunteed snow every year. Only now do I realise it's an agricultural state with a population of 161,000 and quit possibly the most unlikely location for a megacity of 31 million
Ah, I'm Petaling Jaya. Most Malaysian furs are from selangor or KL I notice
No furs from kelantan, but they consider Internet "haraam" and talking animals idol worship so that's understandable. They'd rather read the Quran 50 times and perfectly memorise it than actually get a life. There's only so much you have to be religious

Yep, I know that you're from PJ, SS2 there. We talked before about it.
As for the reading quran.. you have no idea.. these people.. in front of my home, I have a surau and they practically live there in the Surau their whole life. And.. when they preach, they have their loud speaker on and one time.. I heard one of them saying this.
"Jikalau mahu masuk syurga, anda mesti menghafal seluruh quran seperty ia adalah ilham and nyawa-mu. Dengan itu, anda boleh memasuki syurga."
I was like... okay.. so.. basically, you're telling me that all you need to do is just.. memorize the quran, the whole thing.. and you will go to heaven, eventhough you kill and rape and stuff...Hrm.. interesting.. no?
Hehehe.. I get malay educated with their preaching since it's always on all the time.

Oh dear lord, that's horrible! I thunk it's completely incomsoderate how these mosques can be so loud and preachy, even in Malay-minority areas! My Chinese friends tell me it's absolutely irritating how near his house there's a mosque, in a mostly Chinese area, that blasts the Azan at 5 in the morning! C'mon, there are non-Muslims in this country y'know? You don't have to be so loud!
But their typical response is: "Malaysia's a Muslim country. If you don't like it, then get out" which is the wrong attitude to have

Ungh... I've heard that phrase a few many times on the paper too.. and from otehr people.. It's just too stupid.
Non-muslims? Where are the non-muslims? they don't really care... c'mon... their religion is the highest among all... if you don't like... go die lar..
Hehehe... I'm used to it already. Main thing is, I don't want to have my head beheaded...

er... where have I been.. er.. under my own little shell.. hehe.. To be honest, I don't really care much about politics. I hate policitcs and all those fucked up scam. It's all such pointless publicity to get people's vote. If I had the chance, I wouldn't want to vote when the next election comes around.
Well, at least, now, I know about Kelantan and its Islamic state.
Well, at least, now, I know about Kelantan and its Islamic state.
Me and my cousin we make constant jokes about kelantan.
What does every car registered in kelantan have in the back?
A songkok, and a quran under glass that says "Break in case of emergency" in jawi
In kelantan, everything's written in Jawi. Even the numbers on clocks!
What did the Kelantanese government do about the flooding?
Nothing. If it is Ya' Allah's will, then we shall flood! To create a "flood management" system would be to challenge Ya' Allah's will cuz if he intended for us not to flood, he wouldn't have sent rain!
You get the idea. Oh speaking of voting, here's a quick and easy guide to winning votes in malaysia
To win Malay votes, you just have to promise them they'll receive special treatment, they'll be granted all the jobs, they're kids'll get scholarships even though they failed their exams and more mosques
For chinese voters, promise them better economic policies and more liberalising of the markets, and let them control their businesses and lie that you'll drop the bumiputera requirement for businesses. Oh, and more banking policies. In short, more ways fro them to get rich or richer
For indian voters, just promise you'll stop demolishing all their hindu temples.
For orang asli, err......well, nobody cares! They're too small to make a difference so don't bother!
Sorry if you got offended, but I found that so true...

oh no. I'm not offended at all and find this amusing isntead.
It's true that this is what we malaysian's here think about and it's all so true. I don''t think that this cycle will break unless the government and people change. To be honest, in my opinion, we should be working hard to earn what we want. I mean look at the chinese and indians, they work their asses off and look at those other muslim people who had it easy. Are they actually rich?
I don't know. as far as I'm concern, the population of Chinese that are poor are lss than those people of the muslim because of the government's help. If the government dies... they are hopeless. That's what I think but I could be wrong.

Exactly! I find some of these Bumiputera laws so unfair! I mean chinese business HAVE to have a bumiputera shareholder, that's so stupid! In my opinion, they make the malays lazy as a race, and sometimes I'mnot proud of my heritage because of the bad rap we have.
The Malays are sooooo doomed without all the government help. I call myself an educated malay, and I'll admit it, I'm an elitist. My family consider us Malays who speak english properly and have actually had an education and work as something other than toll operators as superior to other malays and we regularly look down on them. We are just so disgusted how stupid, uneducated and lazy other malays are. Most of my friends are either whites or chinese and i have only 2 or 3 malay friends, who are educated as well and have the same opinion.

I'm will be getting out of this place if possible. Probably go over to SG and get PR there or AUS. If go SG, I've got someone special there and I really want to be with him... *murrs* but... not till I get a job and by that time, it would be hard cause maybe... he might find someone else during that period and I'm afraid to tell my parents about my stuff, just like you and I understand where you stand.
Since Mahathir left, Yes. Since Mahathir left, i has been really.. bad...

My deputy head. Needless to say, it's not his real name, but he's a massive holocaust fanatic, always teaching the lessons in history about the Nazis and Auschwitz. Plus, he's a massive fascist. Have i told you the story about my friend having his tie to short, so i tell him or he'll get in trouble, then Mr Adolf spots me saying this and has a go at me for "Taking his authority".
"THIS IS NOT YOUR SCHOOL! THIS IS MY SCHOOL! I MAKE THE RULES AND INFORCE THEM!"

Yeah, my old chemteacher (who had such a thick indian accent she said all the chemicals funny) assigned a test, then, the next day, told us she's giving aanother test today! We complained and she said "who are you to complain? I'm the techer. I can give you as many tests as i want" she also made us write all these notes which were ALREADY IN THE TEXTBOOK!!!!
