Once JT realized his superpowers intensified if his weight rose, he embarked on a full 24/7 mission to become the best hero he could be. Whenever he wasn’t working, the wolf would dash from burger place to pizza joint, putting his speed to work in wolfing down as much as he could before his belly would cry uncle.

When JT defeated Gemie, the local tabloids dubbed him The Lardy Lupine. While JT was embarrassed by the title at first, given his new motivation, the wolf took it as a source of pride. He started collecting newspaper clippings, watching with glee as his rear end would swell in each successive paper, the writers in shock at his size. It was undeniable that as JT grew, his achievements did too - before long, the wolf wasn’t just stopping robberies but fighting off more villains, from crime bosses to actual super villains created by the same energy drink company that gave him his powers. With that track record, The Lardy Lupine had no reason to stop gaining.

Months later, some unsuspecting crooks broke into the wrong jewelry store. The masked hyenas barely had time to loot the place before the teal-and-gold-suited lupine appeared in front of them. The hyenas could only stare as they looked at the sight in front of them. Despite the belt squashed into his belly, the wolf’s gut dropped to the ground, his legs standing splayed wide to support the weight. He raised a massive paw toward them.

“Stop in the name of the lard!”
